Dr. Delport was born and raised on a mission station located in the wilds of the Northern Province of South Africa. He emmigrated to the US with his wife Alice, daughter Beverly and son Brendon in 1979.

Dr. Delport and Alice his wife owned and operated a hearing health care business in Springfield for seventeen years before establishing Abundant Health Clinic ten years ago.

His interest in Natural Health resulted from the challenges his wife has faced with cancer. Alice was diagnosed and underwent surgery for uterine cancer in 1982. The cancer metastasized in both lungs on two subsequent occasions. When the cancer returned the third time, their quest for better health began in earnest. Dr. Delport returned to college to become a Naturopathic doctor.

Alice, given 12 months to live 13 years ago when cancer returned for the third time, is well today as a result of the power of prayer and the knowledge and application of Natural Health principles.

Their passion is the prevention of disease through health and wellness education and the adoption of healthy diet and lifestyle habits.
